Queer-Created,
Queer-Celebrated

Voulez-Vous Productions, founded in 2019 by Lily Coursol-Dion and Avery Burrow, focuses on empowering Montreal's queer female and gender non-conforming artists through opportunities for creative exploration, professional development, and intercultural and intergenerational exchanges. The organization has been producing cultural events since 2019, including notable initiatives like Queerlesque Night, the ongoing BLUSH artistic showcase, and various networking and social events.

Our Journey

Since June 2019, these bi-monthly (3h) live-model drawing workshops by and for queer people offer an opportunity for our community to meet and socialize in a sober and caring space, while celebrating the beauty of queer bodies. Workshops feature between 1 and 2 models from our community.

BLUSH

Since August 2019, our roving parties have been creating a safe, welcoming space for queer women and gender non-conforming individuals. Focused on harm reduction and prevention of abuse and harassment, these events have featured over 30 local DJs, and over 40 emergent & established performers from Montreal's burlesque and drag scenes. BLUSH fosters intergenerational networking among queer and gender non-conforming artists and cultural workers, locally and internationally.

KING POUR UN JOUR

Since Summer 2020, this series of workshops has offered emerging performers from the drag community the opportunity to hone their skills in the art of drag king performance over the course of three workshops (Character Development; Choreography and Movement Development; Stage Makeup Apprenticeship) developed and presented by leading figures in the discipline of drag art.
